LAY-UPS FOR LITERACY 2008 UPDATE

On Sunday, Seattle Storm employees and Storm mascot Doppler will volunteer to count layups for dozens of local high school girls' basketball players participating in the third-annual Layups for Literacy event at Roosevelt High School. Layups for Literacy is a two-hour marathon of participants shooting layups to raise money for the Northwest Literacy Foundation and to place new books in public school libraries.
